Choreographer~Teacher~Dancer

Philosophy
Our movement, technical execution and performance is centered in the energy we exude and absorb. I want all dancers to understand that energy is contagious. Movement is about making a connection with our selves, the artistry, our fellow dancers and our audience; understanding and making those connections are the foundations of a complete dancer. My role is to foster this awareness and cultivate sound technique in a positive but realistic and honest fashion.
Experience
I teach jazz, tap and dance history. I adjudicate dancers on the regional and national level. My choreography is based in Contemporary Jazz, Musical Theater Jazz, Musical Theater Tap and Rhythm Tap. My passion lies in dance education. I love training dancers of all levels and inspiring them to meet their personal goals. I am qualified to choreograph at the University level or on the Competitive level. I also run dance intensives in jazz, tap, contemporary and teacher training.
Hope to see you on the Marley!
Warmly,
Mary Beth
